The idea of this rig was to study and improve my understanding of human anatomy, and also to test my homemade rigging tools and nodes.
The controll rig is built using my own Biped-rig builder (python), the deformation rig is based on maya's own cMuscle system as main driver.
These muscles get wraped using a homemade deformer to a lower resolution model to simulate a fascia bind.
From here it get's re-wrapped to the original mesh, and some correctives get applied on top, these are driven by an custom RBF node for clean interpolation between poses.
Lastly, I've applied my own skin-slide deformer, which is patch based to recreate the feeling of skin on top of the muscles.
The short is wrapped to the body and simulated using nCloth.
